What's Special with the Firefox Smartphone


The low-range mobile phones customers may now look further than Android. Spice has
releases India's very first mobile phone operating FireFox system at a price of Rs. 2,299 - that is more affordable than the cheapest Android mobile phone offered in the market today. The mobile phone called Spice Fire One Mi - FX 1, has a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen together with a 2 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. The Spice Fire One Mi-X1, powered by a GHz processor, has dual-SIM functionality with 2.5 G connectivity. It does not support 3G connectivity.

Spice Fire One focused on about 90% of phone users who wants to switch to affordable smartphones to make calls, messages, email and stay connected on social media. Nowadays, people are more practical, some even sell cell phone to buy cheaper mobile phones.

The Chief Executive Officer of Spice Mobility Ltd, Prashant Bindal said,  “With the ultra-low cost Spice Fire One, we at Spice, aim to convert the feature phone users into smartphone users, thereby, aiding them with the power of Internet,”

The mobile phone, based on the web, has a special features like Adaptive App Search or the Single Window search and let the users discover all related information and applications with just a single click. This gadget was preloaded with Facebook, Twitter and Connect A2 apps and also supports many Indian languages like Tamil, Bangla and Hindi.

Intex is looking forward to release on August 25 its first smartphone called Cloud FX which costs less than Rs. 2000.

The release of Firefox smartphones with affordable prices may increase the competition with low-range Android smartphones.
